I studied Biology at the University of Alicante, graduating in 2024. I then completed a Master’s degree in Molecular, Cellular and Genetic Biology Research at the University of Valencia. During my studies, I developed a strong understanding of molecular and cellular biology, genetics, and laboratory techniques. After graduating, I specialised in researching the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans, developing skills in experimental design, survival assays and quantitative analysis. I am currently part of the Biotechnological Pest Control (CBP) group at the University of Valencia, where my research focuses on the nematicidal effects of Cry proteins produced by Bacillus thuringiensis on C. elegans.
This involves administering the proteins, monitoring worm survival and quantifying the effects, in order to better understand their biological activity. I aim to continue advancing my expertise in molecular biology and expanding my knowledge of C. elegans, while contributing to sustainable biocontrol strategies and innovative research using model organisms.
