Rosa María González

I am currently part of the CBP group at the ERI-Biotecmed of the Universitat de València, in Spain. I am a laboratory technician, having studied clinical diagnostic laboratory between 2006 and 2008. My work experience began in 2009, when I worked for a year as a quality control technician in a company in the food sector. In 2010, I obtained a grant to train as a laboratory technician in the Department of Genetics at the University of Valencia, where I have developed my professional career since then.

Since 2012, I have been contracted in different projects as a laboratory technician in the same research group, where I have gained extensive experience in various tasks. My main duties include the maintenance of insect colonies, the performance of bioassays with different insecticidal agents, as well as the expression and purification of insecticidal proteins from Bacillus thuringiensis and Escherichia coli. In addition, I am responsible for organizing and coordinating the routine tasks in the laboratory.
